This image of bleeding hearts is one of the original photographs of my collection. I had just received a Pentax K-1000 film camera for a high school graduation gift. We visited a garden in Wisconsin and I fell in love with shooting flowers. I accidentally cross-processed the film which gave it the hyper saturated colors that make it so striking. I have this image in a VERY large format in our own home and it is just stunning.
This image has been a gentle reminder to keep my heart open, soft, compassionate, and thankful.
It is equally suited to a small 8x10 print or a 4' x 5' canvas gallery wrap with an ornate vintage frame. The print would be charming in a little girl's bedroom, a yoga studio, a formal dining room, an office, a boutique hotel room or anything in between.
