Believe it or not, Clara is a begonia. Her soft delicate petals resemble tissue paper and she is often mistaken for a rose. She is one of the many begonias I discovered in the greenhouse of a tiny town in New Zealand. I've named her after the cherished friend who comes to life in the Swiss Alps with the loyal friendship of Heidi and her grandfather.
This image is equally perfect as a small 8x10 print or a 4' x 5' canvas gallery wrap with a heavy vintage frame. It would suit a little girl's bedroom, a yoga studio, a formal dining room, an office, a boutique hotel room or anything in between.
